The East Alabama Sleep Disorders Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and has been in existence since 1994. It is under the medical direction of sleep specialist Dr. William Leuschke. Our other sleep specialists are Dr. Steve Dekich, Dr. Shashi Sharma and Dr. Robert Walkup.
The Sleep Disorders Center specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Our mission is to help you get a good night's sleep. Individuals who may benefit from the Center are those who have chronic problems falling asleep, staying asleep, staying awake during the day, excessive snoring or breathing disturbances such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). We also see patients for a variety of sleep disorders including insomnia, narcolepsy, shiftwork Problems, parasomnias, restless legs syndrome, and periodic limb movement disorders in adults, adolescents and children.
