Capitol Pediatrics and Adolescent Center offers a variety of medical care services, serving Wake County, N.C., for more than 20 years. Its services include physical examinations of individuals up to 21 years, adolescent care including pelvic examinations by female providers, well and sick care, and lactation counseling. The center operates federally-approved laboratory with pediatric phlebotomists and laboratory technicians certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. It also offers lactation consulting, advice nurses, after-hour care, prescription refills and complimentary prenatal orientation. The center is affiliated with Rex and Wake Med Hospital, and accepts major insurance programs. It is open Monday through Friday, and is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.
