Operational since 1991, Asylum has been a rock and roll lounge. The lounge features a vegetarian food menu, along with drinks, an internet jukebox as well as live entertainment. It conducts several events, such as tribal cafe belly dancing, art shows and local awareness programs, among others. Asylum offers a variety of starters and appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, entrees and salads. Based in Washington, D.C., the lounge provides various types of entrees, including fish tacos, taco platter, enchiladas verdes and grilled sirloin.
