Founded in 1953, Sonic Drive-in, a subsidiary of Sonic Corp., is one of the largest chains of drive-in restaurants in the United States. It has more than 3,500 drive-ins in 43 states coast to coast. The restaurant offers a range of dishes in various categories, such as burgers, coneys, chicken, snacks and sides, salads, kids meals, breakfast, premium roast coffees and Frozen Favorites. In 2010, QSR Magazine ranked Sonic Drive-in at No. 10 in the magazine's Top 50 QSR list based on system wide sales.
