Founded in 1959, South Baldwin Volunteer Fire Company offers a range of fire rescue and prevention services. It provides 24-hour fire protection coverage and organizes a variety of fundraising events. It conducts several fire prevention programs, such as the Essentials of Fire Fighting and Emergency Response, which is a basic course that includes the basics of fire fighting. It has a fleet of an engine, rescue, squad, command and a trailer. Additionally, South Baldwin Volunteer Fire Company maintains a social hall that is a banquet facility and hosts various events, including wedding reception, bridal shower, anniversary party, business meeting and social gatherings.
