Established in 1973 as South Denver Cardiology Associates, this two physician group was and remains committed to providing the highest level of cardiac care to the South Metro region. As the clinic grew it began selecting quality, university-trained cardiologists to service a community that had grown 10 times greater in size than the original SDCA served. The clinic is now comprised of 18 cardiologists, with a collective experience of over 300 years of patient care. Major technological advances have changed cardiovascular care, and SDCA has embraced new procedural techniques and drug therapies. The clinic provides active, inpatient (hospital) and outpatient (office-based) services, including state-of-the-art diagnostic and interventional therapies. Its commitment to healing and restoring health after the diagnosis of heart disease is underscored by our Cardiac Rehabilitation program, the longest established program in the South Metro region. With its new facility in Littleton, Colo., it has expanded patient care focus to include a strong emphasis on prevention and early disease detection. Included in the facility is a Lifestyle Center dedicated to mind-body restorative therapies, exercise, and education. Its 150-seat auditorium includes a cooking demonstration area, and will provide a powerful gathering place and will further enhance the delivery of cardiac care to the South Metro community.
