Established in 1972, the Southeast Volunteer Fire Department responds to fire alarms, medical emergencies, automobile accidents, service calls and building inspections. The department provides fire protection solutions for various residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural facilities. It fire investigations team offers investigation services to find the cause and origin of fires. The Southeast Volunteer Fire Department also organizes fire awareness community education programs. The department offers full-time emergency medical and paramedic services. It provides classes on fire protection techniques for families and children. In addition, the Southeast Volunteer Fire Department offers advanced life support and technical services. The department maintains a fleet of engines, ambulances, duty vehicles and rescue truck.
