Southwest Community Health Center is a nonprofit health care institution. It offers medical and health services to individuals and families residing in southwest Bridgeport in Connecticut. It provides a range of primary medical, dental and behavioral health services. Southwest also provides community outreach and entitlement enrollment services, and health education and disease prevention programs. The center specializes in pediatrics, gynecology, internal medicine, specialty and dental care, substance abuse treatment and mental health care. Its physicians are board certified and provide hospital and after hours services. Southwest Community Health Center was established in 1977 and is approved by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations.
