In addition to being more efficient and cost effective, outpatient surgery offers Arizona / Phoenix LASIK and cataracts patients care in an atmosphere that is comfortable and familiar. It allows them to return home following surgery and eliminates unnecessary hospital expenses.


Today we have surgery centers in Mesa, Casa Grande, Safford, Nogales, Yuma, Prescott, Phoenix, Sun City, Sierra Vista, Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City, Lakeside, Cottonwood, and Kingman.


Southwestern Eye Center's medical staff includes a group of ophthalmologists with a diverse range of specialties. The full time staff provides expertise in the areas of cataract and implant surgery, treatment of glaucoma, diabetes management, corneal transplants, refractive surgery, medical and surgical retina, and laser vision correction

With several accomplished specialists in the areas of LASIK, cataracts, retina, glaucoma and cosmetics, Southwestern Eye Center is able to provide patients in Arizona with improved vision by using some of the most advanced and sophisticated techniques and technologies available today.


Southwestern Eye Center's full time medical staff includes licensed Arizona LASIK surgeons, ophthalmologists and optometrists. Our ophthalmologists offer expertise in cataract and lens implant surgery, premium lenses such as Crystalens and ReSTOR, treatment of glaucoma, diabetes management, corneal transplants, refractive surgery, medical and surgical retina, LASIK surgery / laser vision correction and Implantable Contact Lenses (ICLs). Our optometrists provide general eye care, diabetic eye care and co-management of cataract care and glaucoma care.


Southwestern Eye Center has provided on-site outpatient surgical care for numerous Arizona and Phoenix cataracts and LASIK patients since 1983. Our Arizona ophthalmologists and optometrists offer complete eye care services at our 23 locations.
