Space Center Intermediate School is a part of the Clear Creek Independent School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Space Center Intermediate School serves more than 1,200 students in grades six through eight. It offers a range of general academic and extracurricular courses. The school supports a variety of elective programs in art, band, choir and orchestra. In addition, Space Center Intermediate School operates several student organizations, such as the National Junior Society, academic challenge and peer mediation teams, and chess and art clubs. Located in Houston, the school has a library that provides access to a range of books, periodicals, online databases and multimedia resources.
