This recently built facility provides a fresh atmosphere for successful early childhood development. The classroom environment is specifically designed to stimulate the child’s innate interests. It includes the six interrelated areas: Practical Life, Language, Sensorial, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. Christine Lonergan, an award winning DC Public School teacher of fifteen years and graduate of United Montessori Association is the creator and director of Spring Valley Montessori Academy. In response to increased demands for more preschool options, she has opened her own.
