St. John Wound Center is a patient-focused and evidence-based wound center. The center treats patients with slow healing or chronic wounds.

The Wound Center specializes in providing wound management for:
Pressure ulcers Lower Extremity Ulcer Diabetic Ulcers Venous insufficiency Ischemic ulcers Neuropathic ulcers Surgical wounds Vasculitis Burns Other Non-healing wounds

Patients are seen by referral. A patient can ask their primary care physician or surgeon for a referral to the wound care center if they have concerns about their wound(s).

Hyperbaric Technology
The Wound Center features three BARA-MED® XD Monoplace Hyperbaric Chambers, the first computer-controlled hyberbaric chambers in Oklahoma. The BARA-MED® XD provides a patient friendly pressurization alternative, "Smooth Ride," that minimizes complications due to middle ear and sinus barotraumas without increasing compression time.The BARA-MED® XD includes a 4th generation Windows-based operating system which controls and records chamber activity.
