St. John's Hospice Program, operated by St. John's Hospital, offers support for the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of terminally ill patients and their families. The program provides compassionate and respite care and physical, occupational and speech therapy services. It offers information related to the progression of the illness. The program also provides pain management and symptom control services. St. John's Hospice Program offers counseling, home care and bereavement support services. The program is certified by Medicare and licensed by the State of Illinois. St. John's Hospice Program is a member of the Illinois State Hospice Organization and the National Hospice Organization.
