St. Mary's Academy is a Catholic, independent school, founded in 1864. It offers a wide range of educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through 12. The academy provides various programs in visual and performing arts; physical education, technology and Spanish. Its interscholastic sports activities include softball, field hockey, volleyball, cross country, track, basketball, swimming and diving, lacrosse, soccer and tennis. St. Mary's Academy offers advancement placement classes in various areas that include English, American and European history; French and Spanish language and literature; calculus, biology, environmental science and studio art.
