St. Mary's Seminary & University is one of the oldest Catholic seminaries in the United States. It offers academic degrees in Christianity and culture, ancient and medieval philosophy, foundations of Christianity, introduction to scripture and fundamental theology. The university operates a full-service theological bookstore that houses a collection of more than 36,000 titles, as well as offers a range of theological, philosophical, biblical, liturgical and spiritual works. In addition, it has a library that provides access to more than 130,000 monographic volumes, over 22,000 serial volumes and nearly 350 periodical subscriptions. Founded in 1791, St. Mary's Seminary & University is owned and operated by the Sulpician Fathers and is located in Baltimore.
