St. Nicholas Neighborhood Preservation Corporation, located in Brooklyn, N.Y., is a nonprofit, nonsectarian community development corporation. It was founded in 1975 and offers comprehensive revitalization services to the Williamsburg-Greenpoint community in New York. It has more than 1,500 employees and provides services in five main areas, such as housing, health care, work force development, economic development and youth and families. St. Nicholas Human Support Corporation, a subsidiary of St. Nicholas Neighborhood Preservation Corporation, provides professional home care services to elderly residents. It also offers personal care services, such as cooking, ambulating, personal grooming and cleaning. In addition, it offers health care services, a primary care center, an assisted living residence and an adult day health care center.
