Founded in 1950, St. Thomas the Apostle School is a faith-based educational institution that provides academic programs to more than 435 students in kindergarten through grade eight. It offers classes in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, physical education, music, computer applications and language arts. The school provides accelerated reader and special education programs for gifted and talented students. It operates a parent-teacher organization that serves as a resource for students, parents and staff members. The school provides an after-school care program to assist students with homework and supervised activities. It organizes a variety of sports activities, art fairs and science seminars. The school additionally offers lunch for its students. It is a part of Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, which provides several spiritual and educational programs.
