The Advocacy Center has been providing provides consumer-driven services individuals with disabilities for more than 50 years. The center offers information-sharing, individual advocacy support, independent coordination services. It is a part of the New York State Parent Network. The Advocacy Center offers workshops to individuals with disabilities, family members and professionals on a variety of topics that include advocacy skills, disability awareness, special education and disability financial benefits. It also provides multisession training series training events. The center is located in Rochester, N.Y.
