State Patrol Div

Minnesota State Patrol is comprised of more than 10 districts. It works with a team of more than 810 staff members. The department s flight section assists law enforcement agencies in activities, including such as traffic enforcement, emergency relays, surveillance, and search and rescue missions. Minnesota State Patrol s auto theft division investigates crimes, such as fraud, odometer tampering, auto theft and car dealership violations. The department also offers education to the public in the areas of seat belt use, drinking, and driving and general traffic safety. Minnesota State Patrol serves roadway users, law enforcement agencies and dignitaries. It is a part of the Department of Public Safety, which is governed by the State of Minnesota.
