Steck Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers classes in English, math, science, social studies and language arts. It also provides classes in art, music, dance, technology and physical education. Steck Elementary School offers special education and English as a Second Language programs. The school has a library that houses a variety of storybooks, picture dictionaries, encyclopedias, and fiction and nonfiction books. It additionally provides early childhood education and gifted and talented education programs. Steck Elementary School organizes birthday parties, science fairs, field days and Halloween Day. The school s parent-teacher-student association hosts family reading night, bookfairs, talent shows and enrichment programs.
