U-Turn is an affiliate of Turning Point Outreach Ministry, Inc a non-profit organization, opened in April 2005, playing an active role in the Houston area. U-Turn assist many at-risk youth and adult offender related programs through mentoring, training and other resources. Our organization helps drug and alcohol abusers to empower positive changes and make a turn for a better life. We are working in collaboration with Harris County Community Supervision, to enable individuals living in the immediate area to receive services at the U-Turn facility. The At-Risk Population that we address is both male and female of all races and from ages 12-99. We serve less than 5% walk-in population. 95% of our clients are referred from the court systems, probation officers, parole officers, child protective services case workers, and juvenile liaisons for JP courts. Our fee structure is designed so that even those without insurance and limited income are still able to complete their required treatment.
