Sturgeon Electric Company provides complete electrical construction services. It specializes in high voltage transmission, other forms of transmission, overhead and underground distribution, substation projects, fiber optic cable systems, dry utility installations and low voltage controls, with financial, managerial and technical capabilities to complete electrical installations of any type and size. Sturgeon has experience working with a variety of facilities, including high-tech manufacturing, clean rooms, airports, schools, power plants, petrochemical facilities, mining operations, prisons, biotechnology laboratories and a host of others. It maintains two divisions that offer power line construction and commercial and industrial inside electrical construction and maintenance. The company is a part of the MYR Group and manages its operations in the Western United States. Established in 1912, Sturgeon Electric Company maintains headquarters in Henderson, Colo., with six additional offices throughout the United States, including one in Tucson, Ariz.
