Opened in 1966, Summit Park Elementary School serves more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school maintains a staff of over 25 teachers that offers educational classes in English, music, art, physical education, reading, writing, social studies and math. Its staff also includes psychologists, guidance counselors, nurses, speech pathologists, and occupational and physical therapists. Summit Park Elementary School operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising activities and special programs. The school features a cafeteria and library, as well as nearly 22 classrooms. Located in Baltimore, Summit Park Elementary School is a part of Baltimore County Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
