Sunset Tower Hotel is located in West Hollywood. Designed in 1929 and formerly called The Argyle, the building s Art Deco architecture earned it a slot on the National Register of Historic Places. The building underwent a restoration in 2005. Rather than restore the building to its historical accuracy, the owner chose to restore the building in a modern fashion. More than half of the building s 74 guest rooms are suites. It features a swimming pool, an 80-seat bar, a spa, a fitness center, wireless service, mini-bars, flat-screen televisions, Kiehls bath products and iPod stations. The hotel s guestrooms are comprised of 300 square feet. Its suites feature 800 square feet.
