Established in 1911, SwedishAmerican Hospital is a 357-bed facility that serves the Greater Rockford region, northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin throughout the United States. It maintains the Regional Cancer Center, which features a private 10-room oncology unit, an outpatient hospital infusion room, and outpatient medical, hematology and radiation oncology departments.
