Tallula Restaurant, located in Arlington, Va., is a 100-seat restaurant with adjacent bar and lounge that serves classic American style cuisine. Its menu offers classically inspired American food, including chili braised beef short ribs, ricotta cheese gnocchi, fried green tomatoes, seared hanger steak, burgers and ranch pork chops. Its Amuse Yourself menu consists of more than a dozen hors D oeuvres style choices, including corn beignets, truffled mini burgers, halibut ceviche, and corn dogs. The restaurant also features a wine program that offers more than 350 wines by the bottle and more than 65 wines available by the glass. These wines are also for sale in the adjoining retail wine store, Planet Wine, an offspring of the Planet Wine Shop. Tallula is located in the space that was formerly occupied by Whitey s in Arlington.
