Established in 1969, Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities offers educational, residential and family support services to children and adults with special needs. Its facility includes children s residences, education buildings, library, therapy room, training and conference center, restaurant and office space. The center offers various services, such as early intervention, developmental day and respite care. Its early intervention program is designed for young children in the age group up to 3 and offers home-based therapies. Located in Raleigh, N.C., the center also offers residential services, including intermediate care facilities. It provides treatment, support and assistance in the areas of personal care, communication, recreation and all aspects of daily living.
