We believe that having people with the right training and the right attitudes in the right positions is the key to your success. teller associates was founded in 1980 by the brother and sister team, Alan and Roz Teller, who focused on assisting nonprofit, governmental and other organizations bring out the best in their employees. We facilitate training, team building, conflict resolution and organizational development, and ensure that your policies and procedures are useful and up to date. In addition, we perform HR functions for various organizations, including compensation review, interviewing and selection, performance management systems and progressive discipline. A former New Yorker, Roz has facilitated executive and board retreats, as well as retreats for team building and strategic planning. With a Master's degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, she is listed in Who's Who in the West, Who's Who in American Women and the International Who's Who of Professional and Business Women. Partner Rosalind Teller, M.A., has extensive experience in leadership development, working with such organizations as the California Association of Health Services at Home (the State home care association) and Watts Healthcare. She has worked with Long Beach Memorial Hospital to develop a mentoring program for nurses and with The Long Beach Gay and Lesbian Center to facilitate the creation of support services for low and medium acuity HIV clients in the Long Beach area. In addition, she has worked with several organizations to resolve ongoing conflicts. As a consultant, Roz has worked with organizations throughout California on human resource issues, assisting boards of directors with executive compensation and performance management, working with managers on performance management, employee relations and staff development, as well as providing training and executive coaching to managers and supervisors. She has facilitated retreats for such organizations as California Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, the Los Angeles Department of Public Works, the Los Angeles County Commission on Alcoholism, First 5 L.A. Stop Prisoner Rape, and the Partners in Care Foundation. A former New Yorker, Roz has a Master's Degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and is listed in Who's Who in the West, Who's Who in American Women and the International Who's Who of Professional and Business Women. Roz currently serves as Board President of the Mary Magdalene Project and is on the board of directors and personnel committees of Barlow Respiratory Hospital. She is a volunteer instructor at the Volunteer Center, South Bay and at the Center for Nonprofit Management in Los Angeles.
