Established in 1979, the Texas Hematology/Oncology Center offers diagnosis and treatment services for cancer. Located in Dallas, it is a part of the Patients Comprehensive Cancer Center, which serves cancer patients. The parent company s oncologists, physicists and therapists provide radiation therapy services. It provides brain and body sterotactic radiosurgery procedures for the treatment of tumors and lesions. The Patients Comprehensive Cancer Center operates a diagnostic radiology department that offers CT scan, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, magnetic resonance imaging and positron emission tomography services. In addition, the center organizes the Summer Screening Program for the early detection of common cancers, including breast, lung, colorectal and prostate.
