The Texas Pharmacy Tech Academy curriculum is a 10 week sequence of instruction including many classes like Asptic Techniques - (IV certification) in Houston. Pharmacy Techs learn to compound and dispense IV medications under sterile - or aseptic - conditions. As a pharmacy technician you can work in a variety of settings including, but not limited to, hospitals, retail, home health care and public and government health agencies.
