Texas School of Business, founded in 1983, offers a range of diploma programs in the areas of health care. It provides courses in several disciplines, including dental assistance, medical office support and pharmacy technology. The school also has medical laboratories equipped with microscopes, scales, artificial arms, centrifuges, electrocardiographs, skeletons and half-body models with removable organs. Texas School of Business is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools and offers students financial assistance services through lending institutions. The school is owned by Kaplan Higher Education Corporation, which provides education through more than 70 institutes in over 20 states. The school maintains several campuses in Houston.
