The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, also known as TSCPA, is a nonprofit organization that represents accounting professionals of Texas. It has more than 15 local chapters statewide and over 28,000 members. The society is committed to serve public interests with programs that advance higher standards of ethics and practice within the accounting profession. The Accountancy Museum of the TSCPA provides programs that commemorate the progress and significant events within the accounting profession and the society. The Accounting Education Foundation of the TSCPA offers financial assistance to students in the field of accounting through scholarships, seminars and programs. The TSCPA CPE Foundation provides nearly 500 continuing education programs in a variety of formats to meet the needs of its members. Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants maintains a location in Dallas.
