The company s production facilities include an evaporated salt plant in the Houston area, where solution-mined brine water from an underground salt dome is produced for evaporated salt products and a rock salt mine in Hockley, Texas, where the salt is mined from an underground salt dome to create its rock salt products. The company also operates a solar salt facility near Carlsbad, N.M., where salt is harvested off a salt lake to produce its solar salt products.
