Opwerational for more than 80 years, The Art Institute of Pittsburgh offers a range of educational opportunities for the development of creative and collegiate skills of students. The institute is authorized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to conduct several degree- and diploma-level programs in the areas of science, advertising, digital media production and entertainment design. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, American Culinary Federation, and Council for Interior Design Accreditation. The Art Institute of Pittsburgh also conducts programs in photography, media arts and animation, and hotel and restaurant management. Additionally, the institute enrolls over 12,500 students. The Art Institute of Pittsburgh is a member of the Ohio Council of Private Colleges and Schools, American Council of Education, and National Art Education Association. It offers financial aids, as well as career consultation services.
