The Bainbridge Crew is a Design/Build remodeling firm specializing in residential renovations. Family owned and operated for nearly 100 years, R.G. Bainbridge, architect and builder, designed and built one of the first model electric homes in Buffalo, NY in 1922. The owner, R.C. “Rick” Bainbridge, Jr. has carried on the tradition of excellence since 1977.
The Bainbridge Crew is founded on a history of being a leader in the building, remodeling, and design industry, with over 100 awards to date. These awards range from first place gold awards from national remodeling contests such as Professional Remodelers “Best of the Best” and NARI National’s Contractor of the Year Award (COTY), to the regional Chrysalis Awards winning “Remodeler of the Year” (1999) and “Decade of Excellence” award (2008), as well as numerous local awards such as Remodelers Council “Excellence in Remodeling” and local NARI COTY awards. The Bainbridge Crew has been recognized not only as a leader as a design/build firm, but also as an outstanding business model. The Remodeling Center, the aptly named 7000 square foot showroom, has various vignettes that are functioning rooms such as baths, a full kitchen, home office, media room, etc. Customers can choose all of their selections from the showroom, or can use the vast network of vendors that have allied themselves with The Bainbridge Crew.
On staff are accredited designers and remodelers, with a NARI Certified Remodeler (CR) in-house designer and remodeling consultant.
The Bainbridge Crew is equipped to accurately design and price a remodeling project (vs. the old mantra of receiving a “free estimate”), many times at the conclusion of the initial meeting. Homeowners do not need blueprints or conceptual drawings, as The Bainbridge Crew provides a “one-stop shopping” experience where the client receives a workable conceptual design, a fixed price agreement, in-house CAD design services, both the designer and project manager to guide them in selecting materials that complement one another, and a mix of direct employees and licensed trades to build the project.
Bainbridge Handyman Services provide clients with a company they can trust to tackle their small repair and renovation projects. Warranty work for all Bainbridge customers is provided through our in-house service technician, ensuring that someone is available to service any warranty work in a timely fashion.
