Family & Children's Service is a nonprofit organization that offers counseling, mental health evaluation and educational services. It also provides individual, group, couple and family therapies and violence prevention and adolescent domestic abuse programs. Family & Children's Service also offers screening and referral programs for people who suffer from behavioral, emotional, social and traumatic problems. It provides several in-school and community-based family development programs that focus on improving existing assets and development of new life skills and resources. The organization also provides crisis counseling and early childhood mental health services, as well as bullying prevention and intervention training for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals. Family & Children's Service maintains one of its facilities in Minneapolis.
