Established in 1976, the Fish Market is a restaurant chain, offering seafood at more than eight restaurants in California and Arizona. The restaurant is supported by its own fishery and fishing boat, and partnership with an oyster farm. Its features include a bar and lounge area, full-service oyster bar with counter seating, a retail seafood market, and signature mesquite wood broilers. Its seafood menu features fresh fish broiled inches over mesquite wood to seal in the flavor. The restaurant also offers shellfish specialties, chowders and cioppino, seafood cocktails, smoked fish and pasta appetizers, as well as salads and sandwiches. Its signature items include au gratin potatoes and cheesy garlic bread, and traditional sourdough bread. The restaurant also features a separate upstairs dining facility, where guests are offered an expanded wine list, desserts, and additional seafood specialties. The Fish Market is located in San Diego.
