Services/Products
Residential Treatment
The Haven's residential treatment program is designed for individuals (male and female) over eighteen who are suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. The length for residential treatment program is between 45-90 days. The average length of stay for program graduates is 75 days. The Haven has an 18-bed capacity, and the population is generally evenly split between males and females. Each client receives at least 25 hours of structured program activities per week.
We are a therapeutic community, meaning that most of the work we accomplish is through the use of group therapy techniques. We support the 12-step program as a model for personal development and long-term recovery. Regular attendance at meetings, groups and additional activities are required as part of the program. Moreover, each of our clients receives a physical and psychological evaluation through the University of Utah's Alcohol and Drug Unit within the first 45 days of treatment.
Transitional Housing Program
The Haven offers transitional housing for men and women who have completed residential treatment. Our homes are clean and inviting, secure and alcohol/drug free. The Haven offers clients a foundation that assures the transition from a treatment center into a sober living facility is consistent with the principles of recovery.
