The Learning Choice is a public, charter school that assists parents who school their children at home. The academy offers books and instructional materials. It provides a certified teacher that offers learning programs in biology, genetics, algebra, calculus, geometry and physiology, as well as classes in music, dance, gymnastics, martial arts and drama. The academy also organizes field trips to various educational and cultural destinations. The Learning Choice maintains a counselor s corner that provides information on scholarship programs and graduation courses. It additionally operates a parent-teacher association that organizes fundraising programs, events and workshops. With one of its locations in San Diego, The Learning Choice serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12.
