Los Angeles Film School is located in Los Angeles. Its facilities include advanced production and post-production technology. Its picture editing facilities includes more than 10 Avid Media Composer 1000s in one editing classroom with a large flat-panel screen for teaching and playback, and two discrete editing rooms. It offers courses in cinematography, directing, editing, producing, production design, story and sound design and a one year immersion filmmaking program. Each student is individually screened for filmmaking. The school offers assistance with federal loans and grants, alternative loans and internal scholarships. It is authorized under United States of America's federal law to enroll nonimmigrant students.
