The Shell House restaurant is a locally owned family operation, which was established by the Garrett family on Wilmington Island in 1983 at Turner s Creek Marina, now called Hogan s Marina. After a fire in 1987, the restaurant relocated to i-95 & 204. Managed by Lance Garrett, the operation still has direct oversight by the original owners who started the restaurant with a lot of late hours, recipe testing, hard work and dedication to make all the pieces come together.
