Founded in 1973, the Tenney School is a college preparatory school that provides educational programs to students in grades 6 through 12. The school offers private, alternative education programs to more than 50 students. It has a staff of teachers that offers educational classes in mathematics, science, reading, writing, computer science, health study, physical education, English and social studies. The Tenney School conducts summer school sessions that are taught on a one-to-one basis. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
