The first edition of Tyler American Classifieds was published on October 14, 1982. We were the 45th American Classifieds to open. At the present time, there are more than 125 American Classified affiliates across the nation.In the beginning, we employed 2 typesetters, Bonnie and myself. We began with a 12 page paper and printed 15, 000 copies. We are now printing a 2 section paper and distributing 50, 000 copies in a 50 mile radius of Tyler, Texas. We now employ +30 people - Office, production, sales and delivery.We would like to thank our loyal readers and advertisers for helping make Tyler American Classifieds the preeminent classified paper that it is today. We look forward to serving our community, both in print and on the world wide web, and eagerly await what the future will bring.
