Tim Hortons opened its first restaurant in Hamilton, Ontario in 1964. It is one of the largest quick service restaurant chains in Canada specializing in offering fresh coffee, baked goods and homestyle lunches. The restaurant's menu spans a broad range of categories, such as flavored cappuccinos, specialty and steeped teas, home style soups, sandwiches and baked goods, including donuts, muffins, bagels, cookies, croissants and pastries. Tim Hortons has around 3,750 systemwide restaurants, including 3,148 in Canada and over 602 in the United States.
