Lindsay s Amber Restaurant is a privately-owned and operated restaurant in Akron, Ohio. In December 1985, Lindsay and Ruth Winstead purchased the Amber Restaurant and renamed it Lindsay s Amber Restaurant. The purchase included three acres of land and a 6,000-square-foot building. The first of three expansions and several renovations of the restaurant occurred in April 1992. Lindsay s Amber Restaurant has been providing the residents of Akron and its surrounding communities with a variety of American cuisine and other favorites. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lindsay s menu features eggs, bacon, sausage, soups and salads, burgers, sandwiches, chicken, steak and sushi.
