TLC Florist & Greenhouses was incorporated in June 1980. The company gradually enlarged and expanded as demand increased until it operated three garden centers with more than 150,000 square feet of greenhouses and nearly 10 acres of trees and shrubs. Every year since 1993, Nursery Retailer Magazine has listed TLC in its list of the top 100 garden centers in the United States. Oklahoma City Gazette readers consistently vote the store as one of the best places to go for lawn and garden supplies. The company is a major horticultural grower. Each year it grows more than 400 varieties of perennial plants and 400 varieties of annual flowering plants, nearly 30,000 poinsettias, approximately 20,000 garden mums, roughly 40,000 geraniums, more than 100,000 flats of garden plants, nearly 300 varieties of rose bushes and 30,000 bags of its own premium potting soil.
