I have a bachelor s degree in Accounting and a master s degree in Business Administration. I have over 35 years of tax experience. I spent over 29 years with the California Franchise Tax Board (California income tax department) as an auditor and as an audit administrator. I trained tax auditors on tax laws and audit procedures. I develop audit selection models to select tax returns for audit. I retired from the California Franchise Tax Board in 2001. . In 2004 I was admitted to practice before the U.S. Treasury Internal Revenue Service. I am a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agency and a member of the California Society of Enrolled Agent, CSEA. Currently I am on the on the Board of Directors of CSEA, Golden Gate Chapter. In 2005 I joined one of the largest tax preparation firms in the country. I was a Master Tax Advisors in the firm. I prepared some of its most complex tax returns, handle audits and tax appeals and tax collection problems. In 2001 the San Francisco S tate University hired me as one of its Accounting faculty. I taught accounting.
