The Townhouse Art & Frame Center was founded as a small shop in the tiny town of Owego, NY by George and Caroll Kazantzis. It was first known as just "The Townhouse" and was located in the first two floors of a townhouse building which was bought and remodeled by the family in 1977. Still owned and run by the family, TAFC relocated to Wilmington, NC in 1992 and is being operated by their son Doug and his wife Lisa. Focusing in on their strengths, they continue to provide customers with a friendly and personal relationship that sets them apart from other businesses. Even though they specialize in the framing business it is their ultimate goal to fill the needs of their customers and of the community.
