Trend Setters first opened its doors in June of 1972. Dennis and Connie Millhouse made their dream a reality with the best beauty school in Alaska. 39 years later, Trend Setters is still a family owned and operated business.
Trend Setters has two professional salons as well, one in the Dimond Center and the other in Eagle River. There has been more top hairstylists graduate from Trend Setters than from anywhere else in Alaska.
Trend Setters is an unusual school with no comparison in instruction. We are the only school in the nation to three times win School of The Year honors from KMS Research as well as other local awards. We have trained more top professionals than any other school in Alaska.
Our 13,000 sq. ft. facility includes a beauty salon, which serves the general public, and several classrooms. Here students find instruction ranging from theory to practical application techniques.
