Tropical Texas Behavioral Health provides mental health and substance abuse prevention services for individuals of Cameron, Hidalgo and Willacy counties in Texas. The center provides services for individuals suffering from emotional and mental disorders. It serves adults aged 18 and above with severe depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorders. Tropical Texas Behavioral Health also offers counseling, screening, assessment, crisis intervention, respite care, pharmacy, and case and medication management services. The center additionally provides family education and training and progress monitoring solutions. It serves more than 15,000 individuals annually. Tropical Texas Behavioral Health administers the Federal Probation Treatment Program for adults who have been placed on probation for drug-related charges.
